Hi, my in-game name is XK | Runtime (XK is just a fun clan), I'm starting to play a lot on your servers. I know quite a few people who seem to regular here, Rain Man, Xexes, Killuminati, Dharma Agent, Killa, neil patrick harris, himura kenshin, bluebreadtruck, etc. etc. ..

I used to play on a server that got shut down called Onan's Disciples, many of those people I mentioned above also frequented that server. It was a 32 player all talk server w/ some custom maps, so you can tell where my affinity for Fester's came from. I now also play on an Argentinian server (I know a couple of the people who are admins there), they have a great community.

I think I'm pretty good, but I don't play serious. Used to want to get into all this clan warring but there's always going to be someone better, so what's the point? The best fun is when you're playing casually, IMO. I play soldier a lot, and recently I've also started playing scout and medic heavily. Sometimes, I play sniper, but I'm not that great.

By the way, does this server have a rotation? What is it?

Also, you have an antiquated version of pl_cranetop. Wanted to point that out.

By the way, one criticism I have of this server is the instant respawn. It might get people back into the action faster, but it makes many maps very unbalanced.

Yeah, I agree with you there a little runtime, but most of the time I come to Festers just to have fun, too tired to care if enemies respawn fast too - I think if Fester's had a respawn I'd actually fall asleep on the keyboard waiting to play.

Besides - no respawn is pyro friendly! =D

ok. If you ever do consider it, maybe a shortened respawn time instead of none at all? After all, the RED:BLU win ratio on some maps might be 5:1 or greater...

Its not instant respawn there is a 3 sec spawn time .. and this has been debated to death and all polls say the people likes the fast respawn
