There was big problems with the water in Galway last year. There was a bunch of us up there for a stag (LazyEagle's brothers stag in fact) when this was going on. Some pain in the arse waking up at some ungodly hour of the morning with a mouth like sand psaper and realising you had to go to the lobby of the hotel to get some water that wouldn't kill you. (ok kill might be a bit of an exaggeration but you get the point)

I lived in the effected areas and never changed my water usage patterns (dont use the water to brush your teeth? fuck off!)

Overrated what-about-the-children fearmongering. Worst case scenario you would have got a dose of the squirts, which is the same as what the post-boozer fast-food will give you anyway!

One hour of Ruairio-time is pretty much anything inbetween two hours and five days of actual time

So not only will he be late collecting you from the airport, you won't get to Galway until Sunday evening after he takes a 5 minute detour to make a phone call and buy fags that takes you 130km in the wrong direction encompassing an overnight stay at some unknown relative.
