I think that Aer Arann fly to Galway from Dublin. I priced it at around 75 EUR return.
The train is around 45/50 EUR I think, so who knows Johnimus, I may well be on one of those planes with you!

the question you all need to ask yourselves is whether 30 or 40 bucks are worth several hours of your time!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! This will require some serious drinking, I mean thinking!

So can I reserve a place to sleep, Jased? I can bring sleeping bag for the floor if I have to, but bed would be great because then I'd have more room for booze and cigarettes in my luggage.

I'm using Aer Arann all the way. They increased the prices since the last time I looked which was a bit of a bummer, but I'd still rater pay £104 Dublin to Galway return than get that bloody 4 hour bus lol

I know there are feck all flights into and out of Shannon these days, and I dunno where y'all are flying from, but look at that as another option. Shannon is only about an hour by bus from Galway, costs 20-odd eur return if you take citylink. Depending on times and what not, myself and/or ruairio may be able to do pickup/drop-off as it's pretty much on the way from limerick to galway. I would suspect that one or both of us would be driving up.

No way am I getting the bus, but I still might get the train, depending on who else is going that way.

To be honest though, I'd be a bit worried about carrying anything even remotely illicit through Dublin airport, if you catch my drift!

Cheers for the offer Del. I've booked my flights now. The plane I'm getting leaves Dublin for Galway at 1.05pm. I'll be hanging around the airport from about 11.15am (thats when the Cardiff flight gets in) so I will see anyone else who is flying on the same plane by the bar!

Hooray for beds! guess there's nothing left standing between us and a coma ;-)
And since I'll only be bringing booze and leaving it up to u guys for any special herbs and spices we might need there won't be anything to worry about in DUB airport.

There will. Ruario is bound to chuck a whitey and collapse on the floor, leaving a serious health and safety hazard between you and a bed. Jase - I hope your going to do a risk assessment
