i dont think it will be so long black, they say they are lookin to have it out next update. and they have been workin on the heavy update for quite some time now, last i heard anything bout the heavy update was like the 16th of last month or so. i wouldnt be surprised to see the new map sometime this month

and its faster then most other games, im not gonna complain bout a massive class update every 2 months or so, anoy other game and ud be lucky to get an update every 6 months of that magnatude

Aye, like with BF2142 we got two updates and then they said "that's all you're getting".
Same thing's happening for Crysis apparently.

There is a really good article in PC Gamner this month about developers attitudes to modders. Valve are by far the best apparently. They will invite modders to their offices and help them out with development (if you have played Minerva Metastasis you can see how their help can be invaluable). Even if you aren't modding you can e-mail them and ask them if you can visit and usually they will say yes.
Power with the people seems to be their attitude. Even if mods and upgrades take a while, they always turn up - and they are happy for people to get involved!

Thats why i love valve! Also they havent released a single bad game since... i dont know. never?

Atleast in my eyes. Not that they had a ton of them, but still.

valve and blizzard are my favorite game developers blizz mainly for he diablo series and the RTS warcraft but then again diablo was the first computer game i ever played and tfc being the first shooter, i think of them as my mother and father
