From what I hear, the state of California wants to tax $60/oz.
Hopefully, prescription drugs will be put out of business. I didn't realize just how bad it was until I saw this documentary on current tv. It's long, but well done.

I used my awesome internet skills to find a way to get around the copyright police and fed google with the term "youtube proxy" and this is what the first 2 links provided me with.

https://www.xbypass.info/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://youtubeproxy.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I haven't tried to watch a blocked video via these sites yet. Tell me if it works for you Knails.

Aye Dharma i only learned myself lately how bad the abuse of prescription drugs has gotten over there and Australia.. we dont really have the same kind of market here for prescription drugs there is still plenty of abuse of codeine but thats about as hard as it gets here since its illegal for med companies to advertise on tv... and California taxing 60$ on a ounce is fantastic news!!!

on a side not you cant enter any country outside of Europe with a criminal record for at least 5 years i think.. its not for ever.. unless was murder or something i guess... but i know people who have had to wait a year or 2 for his record to subside before he could travel

I guess, but someone from my college got refused entry to the US on a college trip.
He had no real criminal record just a warning for possession. nothing more
I was picked up in a local nightclub for putting a spliff together. The bloody Filipino glass collector ratted me out to the bouncers who handed me off to the Gardai who in turn brought me to the station for interrogating.
Long story short, I was let off with a warning (only had enough on me for a few during the night). No issues entering the states the following year. I'm guessing that they didn't enter anything into their system so there's no record of it ever happening. Woots!

Wouldn't the Garda be cutting off their own supply if they hand out punishment too strictly? ;-)
I mean, it's all windy stairs. I'm not being funny.

Good documentary dharma. Scary how bad it is there. "Pain clinic" Fucking crooks!
I suppose we are getting somewhat similar shit here in ireland atm with headshops. I saw a large sign in the nirvana headshop window today saying "king bee now in stock". There is huge demand for this shit, I've heard good(works) and bad reports about it(kills cannaboid receptors), haven't tried myself. I have no doubt that it aint fucking good for you though just as with any other experimental drug, Which is pretty much all pharma drugs. No long term testing of any of todays "medicine" has been done and therefore we are the labrats.
:Mug: Even as i enjoy a cup of coffee I can't enjoy it because i'm being slowly poisoned by the fluoride in the water supply :(

My ex's dad was actually the one who got the fluoride introduced to the water supply here in Ireland. The idea was that it helps kids and doesn't affect adults.

I'm not sure I believe the hype about it killing etc. Seems like another global warming to me. People have always had an issue about it being added is its not helping them. Now they've got a bandwagon to hop on.

First google result is this page: http://homepage.eircom.net/~fluoridefree/home.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Briefly scrolling through the page at least 50% of that is utter crap and inflated opinion designed to create hysteria and anger. I facepalmed the way down the page. (I know that isn't research, it's just an example of what people believe the reasons for removing it are)

I'm not saying that it can't be true just that I don't believe that it is. I'm open to any facts anyone has. Opinion, guesswork and rumour however can get the boat.

Hmmm ...facts
Fact is, I got fluoride tablets in elementary to prevent tooth decay. They gave me nausea and major headaches everytime.
