Guestimation - close, but not quite
Re: Guestimation - close, but not quite
Haha, nice work man, you're pretty handy with the old carpentry then?
Re: Guestimation - close, but not quite
Bloody nice work there m.tt. Looks like it'll be a nice work of art. Whats the blue pipes for?

So, yeah I know one end of a chisel from the other.
The blue pipes go to the water cooling block on the graphics card. (External Zalman 'Reserator' pump/radiator type thing)
I think it took me longer to model it and decide the best place for everything than it took to make it.
I tried lots of layouts before this and most ended with a fan blowing against something solid, or impossible to fit/remove components.

Is that CPU cooler a Zalman CNPS 10x? Looks pretty similar.

Yup, Zalman have far too much of my money from coolers and waterblocks and psus, but no complaints about anything I've bought from them yet.BBloke wrote:Is that CPU cooler a Zalman CNPS 10x? Looks pretty similar.

Bloody hell that looks nice. Hope it works out for you in the long term. Just don't play too much Pyro these days, unless you enjoy sweet, delicious, burning irony.

Same hear. I've bought more than a hand full of the Flowers but got an extreme version for the i5. Nice variable fan speed button which is not needed at all. It's like washing detergent. Keeps everything cool even on a low speed!m.tt wrote:Yup, Zalman have far too much of my money from coolers and waterblocks and psus, but no complaints about anything I've bought from them yet.BBloke wrote:Is that CPU cooler a Zalman CNPS 10x?
