Are you by any chance still studying, or know anyone who is? There is this program called MSDN-AA for technical schools and unis, I got four Win7 (32 and 64-bit professional in German and English) licences for free through that.. as long as your in the same country I doubt it will be a problem activating, gave most of mine away and they all still work perfectly.
I mean, it's all windy stairs. I'm not being funny.

Thinking about this myself yesterday Terb!

The cheapest I could find was on amazon.co.uk.

I think the only place you can buy it for download is on the MS site itself, but they site crashed out with technical problems before I could complete my purchase.

Where did you buy it and what version did you get?
Will probably go for Professional myself, as it has that nice virtual XP mode to run any older programs you might have.

As for the 32bit or 64bit question, I think someone(possibly Bbloke) told me that if your PC can handle the 64 bit version, you may aswell use that.

If your machine is 64bit go with 64, unlike XP it seems to be properly supported. I've had no probs with it on my machine.
Who's this Bloke guy?
