Trojan in steamappz/... /L4D/addoninstaller.exe

Just to let you guys know - possibly only my problem.
When I started this mornin my system needed for like 10-15 min til I could enter steam tho it was alrdy started.
After bein able to use steam again my Avirus Antivir (I know "n00b" ) says that there is a trojan in said path.

Wanted to know if anyone else had that here cos I haven´t downloaded any further add ons but death aboard bout 2 month ago and I tried the one bein posted in here (that Dawn of the Dead mod); last one I didnt even finished downloading but cancelled it.

Are you using avira. It seems it might be picking up the addon installer as a false positive.

I think Dharma mentioned Trojan in here steam folder.. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3377&start=40" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; i scanned my folders with AVG and McAfee this morning to see and nothing should up

ye, 2 trojans in my shit....just moved them anyways and steam works fine now.

Same here. 1 file discovered and instantly deleted. Possibly really just a prob with Avira here but I can´t see why an antivirus prog should declare it as a trojan stead of any joke prog or sumthin like that.
