I've played Call of Duty since the release of the original in 2003, this will be the first PC version I wont be buying.
Clan and competitive play are dead before launch.

Single player will probably be great, as it always is, but wont be worth the ramped up 35 quid they want you to pay for it.

Probbably. You don;t seem to get any of the 'extra' stuff the consoles do, and have to pay the same price. plus, whilst in the first one I really enjoyed the single player mode, the multiplayer servers seemed to be populated with wankers. I'll get it for the single player when it's cheap.

its not just that johnny, there will be NO mod support what-so-ever, so no custom gametypes, or maps for that matter.

that and any additional maps that will be released by IW, PC users will be charged for them, as the consoles have been in the past.

Well im getting it for the 360 so dedicated servers are meaningless
mods are almost always shit and die after a few weeks or are those retarded pro mods that just hack out half the game you just payed for
and custom maps are almost always either terrible or unbalanced

Its a game i wont be buying, £10 dearer than normal, locked into no mods, no dedicated servers, guaranteed to be charged for extra maps......im not a fucking console gamer for a reason.

You can really hear Microsoft and Sony going 'screw PC over for consoles, lose a large chunk of your fanbase through fucking them over with things that will potentially decide if it a better game that MW1 for the PC', dont think it will win many awards outside of console awards.

Oh and Terb the PC versions of CoD normally have mods that would appear in the next installment, so if they dumb down the pc version they will heavily dumb down the console versions of future titles.

Console CoD supporters are reminding me of this at the moment

If they start with the PC market 'which might I add greatly dwarfs the Console market in terms of gamers' you can damn sure bet on them destroying everything else afterwards.

Im not buying it.. the only reason i bought ANY CoD game was for MP. I haven't even finnished half of the CoD series in SP yet.
