Well Devvil, you'll be glad to know you don't have to spam the pistol button as much in DMC4 when you go Gunslinger style with Dante - pretty much automatic fire. Dude's got some serious firepower.
On the other hand, Nero is entirely melee focused and not as mobile as Dante, but definately packs a bigger punch.

Nero is a definitely a lot more focused around carefully combo'd powerhouse attacks instead of Dante's constant barrages. In saying this however, a good Nero player is much much tougher to come across than a good Dante player.Exterminatus wrote:Well Devvil, you'll be glad to know you don't have to spam the pistol button as much in DMC4 when you go Gunslinger style with Dante - pretty much automatic fire. I've been trying again as Nero lately and I'm slowly getting better at air canceling and hike stepping on enemies to get those brilliant air combos. I'm still rubbish however at synching trigger moves into the said combos however

Seriously though Devvil, this game has miles of depth if you are into practicing combos and getting all those difficulty levels and blue orb missions done. It's not available on steam sadly due to Capcom being rather reluctant with PC's these days, but if you can find it around, it shouldn't cost too much.
