I've been hearing iffy words from people who pirated it (I can't pirate things on this 50kbps speed before you go accusin'

).

Main thing they said that civilian AI is terrible. When you "steal" someone's identity, you can still scare the b'jasus out of crowds by simply running. And that monsters will attack you anyway. That was the main complaint I was hearing but other than that, it's like Spiderman meets Assasin's Creed with Prince of Persia 3(PS2) fighting. Sounds ok.

Sounds about right, i'm expecting lots of running around the city, explosions and gratuitous violence. The more subtle elements of stealth carry a little less weight, for that i'll stick to assassins creed or Thief.

I'll be happy as long i can run up the side of a building, leap off, somersault and plummet to the ground to destroy stuff.
Did you see that part of the clip where he landed on a guy and then surfed his body along the road for several feet?

Ya inFamous was a huge letdown, I wanted and thought it was like a Crackdown clone for PS3 so got the demo. This game looks mega cool, but I'll have to wait ages to get it

Either way it's a wonderfully unique game, well worth playing in my opinion.

Played about 2 hours so far of prototype today, and man do i feel like one badass, shape shifting, helicopter punching, civillian disembowling mother lover.
It's good times.

Bought it for the PC over steam yesterday, played it 11 hours straight today and completed the story mode.

PURE. AWESOME.

Impaling enemies on spikes is disturbingly satisfying.

Got this a day or 2 ago, Played through a good bit of it.
You start fairly powerless and gain new powers through experience points which works well, you can choose what way you like to do it best. But if u play like me(OCD style). You'll have enough EP to unlock all of the unlockable powers available to you.
The graphics could be better but considering the amount of peds walking around(dumb or not) it's absolutely amazing.
My description of it would be evil-spiderman crossed with gta/assasins creed. Most fun single player game of the year

Here's an xfire vid I quickly snapped while mucking about(quality isnt great, but get the jist of it).
Will make a better vid when I'm fully used to the controls and got some more powers.

Just a side note: I've played with mouse and keyboard and with 360 controller. The latter is my favourite as you cansit back and enjoy flying,smashing and stealthing all around the city from a comfortable position, smoking not so easy tho!

It is very much an auto-aim game which works very well, makes it very fun and still quite challenging as there is maximum chaos going on all the time.
