Killing Floor.
Killing Floor.
Got it, played it, good times.
It's gritty (that is to say it can be a bit ugly) but it's gory and fun and it's got six person co-op.
Quality weapons and slo-mo to make you feel badass. Not too expensive either.
Give me a shout if you get it and want to team up to pop some freakish monster heads, pew pew pew....

Re: Killing Floor.
it sounds quite gd and reminds me of the half life 1 mod brainbreadKey features:
Co-op game mode for up to six players obliterating multiple waves of specimens
Persistent Perks system, allowing players to convert their in-game achievements into permanent improvements to their character’s skills and abilities
Over 40 Steam Achievements, including “Dignity for the dead” for killing 10 enemies feeding on dead teammates’ corpses and “Hot Cross Fun” for finishing off 25 burning enemies with a Crossbow.
Watch those crucial and violent creature deaths in slomo “ZEDtime”, even in multiplayer
Solo game mode for offline play
9 different monster types trying to eat your face off, armed with everything from teeth and claws, through to chainsaws, chainguns and rocket-launchers
12+ weapons for the players to chose from, ranging from knives and fire-axes up to pump shotguns, rifles and a flamethrower
Add in a welder, medical tools and body armor to help the players survive
Players choose which Perks to play with, so they can best balance out a co-op team to survive the horrors
Open, non-linear play areas: choose when and where to fight – or run; weld doors closed to try and direct the monster horde
Fully-configurable, allowing players to change things as simple as the difficulty level or number of creature waves, or go so far as to set up their own favorite waves of monsters
Support for Steam Friends and other Steamworks features
Includes SDK for the creation of new levels and mods

It does sound interesting. I might give it a go.

Once I've bought American Dad: Volume 4, i'll be saving for this ^^ Although I looked at some gameplay and it looks a bit unfinished :S But still looking awesome fun

Re: Killing Floor.
Hmmm....
"weld doors closed to try and direct the monster horde "
How very Aliens! Another reason to possibly buy it.
Although with the Tf2 Update this week, I may have my hands full.

Knowing you, Toco, all those snipers hiding and avoiding your wrenchy vengeance would definately piss you off.
I'll probbably give Killing Floor a thought if it's straigthened out (mostly visual) by the time the update craze cools down a bit.

Re: Killing Floor.
I got it and it's pretty good. I like the perks system of improving your players abilities/level but it's not crucial for good times. All automatic btw. It looks as though you only need em when you get to the more sadastic difficulty settings.
Oh yeah, there's no crosshair to the game and all your weapons can run out of ammo... oh what fun!!!
