For all the Irish clubbers out there.

Post by dintbo(aka bosco) » Wed Jun 18, 2008 5:50 pm

Irish Nightclubs are facing earlier closing. The Government are hoping to pass the Liquor Licensing Bill 2008 within the next 3 weeks. This means the latest a nightclub [ and late bar / theatre bar ] can open until is 2.30am 6 nites and 1am on Sundays. Local judges have of course imposed even earier closing in many towns / counties.

Yeah certain towns and cities have their own closing times. I think I remember reading that Galway had gone very strict on it a while back. The place I go to in Waterford don't stop serving till 2.45 or 3 o'clock.

I used to live in Aberystwth. It's changed since I was there, but pubs shut at eleven and clubs closed at 1am. Hence most evenings were spent getting as much beer down your throat as possible and then going back for a few smokes and playstation!

fkn wexford sounds nice!in sunny blackpool syndicate night club has 4 or 5 floors and opens till 6am on wkends but the gay clubs get a later license to stop gay bashing or something and u can usually get a drink whenever wherever but we being t-total it dont really interest me :)
