they r fucking with the classes like they did with the pyro when they got rid of the 50+ health on that came with the backburner originally :Boo:

Yeah, I reckon they'll flipflop on a lot of the Scout Updates!

At the moment, they are the GIANT KILLERS in the game, when they were originally supposed to be the fast and weak class!

The backburner was way too powerful when it came out first. Once they changed it around a bit, it became much fairer. I imagine, as Lazy said, they'll do similar to some of the scouts stuff.

Which really only leads to one question, how the hell do these guys playtest the updates.

I really hoped that 'Force-A-Nature' would be like the gun that doesn't do any damage. basicly it would be like the normal shotgun, only it shoots compression blasts. therefore, only thing that would make serious damage would be the baseballbat, which is a melee weapon. this would really make scout more like supportive than offensive class, and that would be cool.

Simple, they put it live...

That force-of-nature is a big joke as well, 2 shots and reload ? lol

Pyro update was fun, like airblast , axtinguisher.
Heavy was pretty fun too and didnt feel that advantageous for heavies as they did to scout, as the heavy's characteristics remained unchanged.

Now, suddenly scout has long range ability too and invulnerable goodie.

Hope in demo update, they give that demoman a shotgun :p

Um I've not played since the update has come out as I need to have a proper good clean of my laptop, but can scouts pick up intel when under the influence of their energy drink?

Scouts cannot use the energy drink when they are carrying the intelligence. Not sure, if they cannot pick it up.

The FaN is more suited for hit and run approaches in my opinion. The pushback can be used to "triple jump". Jump - Double Jump - FaN Blast.

The baseball seems to be a more useful tool on defense, rather than offense. It also appears to be a little unfair in 1on1 situations.
