I had that technic car too bbloke n loads more. I had boxes n boxes of lego from mine and my siblings childhood, wanker housemate gave it away cos he thought it was of no use n taking up space! 100's n 100's of euro's worth. Dark, dark days.

Dude k'nex were awesome.

I made a working mousetrap out of them for a science project.

It didn't kill the mouse, but it triggered a door to close when the food was tampered with.

Ah Johnimus, I would absolutely love to go on Scrapheap Challenge! It looks like great fun and sure who wouldn't want to build a submarine out of soem garden sheds and a quad bike.

Alas, I have zero useful technical knowledge, or experience using power tools, so I closed the door on that particular dream years ago........sniff sniff sob sob.

I try to say I'm keeping my dream alive of moving something with the force, but alas deep down I know its dead...

So I know your pain of unachieved dreams!

Are they still making that show? Haven't seen one for years except on Dave, must be at least 4 years since they made it?

Don't give up your dream chick

Could The Force be with you? A toy due in stores this fall will let you test and hone your Jedi-like abilities.

The Force Trainer (expected to be priced at $90 to $100) comes with a headset that uses brain waves to allow players to manipulate a sphere within a clear 10-inch-tall training tower, analogous to Yoda and Luke Skywalker's abilities in the Star Wars films.

I've got my Dad's old collection of Scale electrix in my cupboard, there's loads of it lol including a ton of accessories. I should get that out again soon...tho i've never had the greatest luck with them, there's always a dodgy connection somewhere or only 1 car working :(

All I remember about scalextric was that I was so bad at making the car go around the track normally, that I specifically designed courses that it would inevitably result in mayhem - just to see how far the little car would fly.
