i got to see my brother and play a round cluedo and monopoly with him, have some Raclett with him and my family and that was the greatest of all gifts...

Well I got 3 days off work, which I spent at home with my folks, which was great!

Today though, I got myself a present in one of the sales.
A new kick-ass set of pots for cooking!

And yes, I did just use the term "kick-ass" when talking about saucepans, because they're pricey cast iron jobs that will probably still be of some use in the kitchen, years after I'm past my best before date!

And I know what you're thinking, what kind of crazy mo'fo buys himself a set of pots and pans as a Christmas present?????

Seems like a very sensible gift. My parents have 2 cast iron pots that are older than me and they're still used for things like home made currys and stews.

S.Corea - in case you haven't noticed, normal people usually don't get along with their families and especially during the holidays.

I got to watch a few minutes of a parade - I think it was a parade - and then commercials came on.
