People bought "Vista-capable" pc's that were not able to run Aero, only vista basic. They got pissed off, they sued, cos there was no clear difference between Aero capable and not
Court case is being heard, lots of dirty email laundry.
Intel sorta kinda forced M$ to ease off on the sys reqs for Vista, cos their shitty integrated gfx couldnt handle Aero
This pissed off M$, they played ball
This pissed off HP who as #1 boxshifters pumped millions into designing new Vista-capable pc's only for M$ to turn around and say sys reqs for vista have changed
