Dead Fortress

an idea that came to me before i went to sleep last night.
left 4 dead mixed with team fortress 2:
play as tf2 classes and hold off the zombie hordes.
8 players per team, red and blu.
Zombies dont drop metal, health packs are the small bottle versions, u cant kill the other team but u can still get injured by sentries.
Spies weapon would change to having mines or something equally powerful instead of sappers ( due to not being able to sap sentries), magnum would be more powerful and with more bullets to compensate his weapons not working as effectively on zombies.
Only 2 maps i worked out so far that would work is avanti; red defend the church whilst blu defends cap 1, the glass pane of gordon would be breakable by the special infected like the tank,and mach4 being the other map considering 2fort has too many ways for the zombies to get in.
The scouts bat can be set on fire by the pyro improving the damage of the bat.

Just an idea to piggy off your idea, do it like the Infected mode in Halo 3. One person starts out as a zombie and everyone he kills get's infected and becomes a zombie. Of course the last man standing would win. Also Zombies can only use melee in Halo 3 but I dont know how fair that would be in TF2.

Ofcourse this would require TF2 mod or and totally new mod.

Here's another idea to spawn off of yours.

Don't do ANYTHING that Halo does. BC Halo is SO stupid.

some one got tf2 on granary and go the tanks from battlefield heros and they where driving these tanks and firing them :P

2 diff. games = diff. fun. I dont need any L4D "crap" in TF2. Some good TF2 Mods will be fun [like NeoTF @ Classic etc.]. Try to design a SG with pyro or some other kind of weapons. :D

btw. is zombie fortress not the same, like your idea dragoon?

tf2 isnt ment for vehicals, it just wouldnt work with all the health mechanics of the game, its just not designed for it

I agree, no vehicles in TF2. I'd think it would ruin the game.

Zombie Fortress is a SourceMod plugin for Team Fortress 2. Two teams face each other, the survivors (RED) and the zombies (BLU) who want to eat them. The survivors need to complete their objective, which is usually to survive a certain amount of time before they are all killed. When a survivor is killed, they are convereted into a zombie. When there are no survivors left, the zombies win.
Two distinct teams battle it out. its similar but my idea had both teams trying to hold off the undead and u had access to all classes and u dont become a zombie

sounds like invasion with 2 teams. who counts the most zombie frags till end of the round.
