I opted for a posted copy of the game instead of steam. It has been posted but not received. Purchase price was £25 quid from play but I have seen it around for £35 and on steam for $44.99 (presumably plus tax). Now, it is a chrimbo pressie from someone else so my dilemma is whether I install it now or at Chrimbo.. mmmmmm... It'll keep.. I'm enjoying L4D too much

What, that's completely wrong. In that case Amazon should prevent anyone from giving less than 5 stars in a product review and eBay should not allow sellers to leave negative feedback (oh wait, they already did that...)

I havn't bought a pc games magazine in a long time, but if that's how they are now with reviews there's no point. Word of mouth is the way to go it seems as I imagine the websites are just the same.
