I'm likeing the pic. I need a few portals wound my comp. An in at arms length with the out inside the fridge for beers and one in on the floor below me with its out on the ceiling above the toilet!!

as for the beer, since I like the stuff so much anyway that I can drink it at room temperature, and lately when I'm really lazy I even open a few before hand so that its easier to pour in ma glass and drink without all the CO²... don't need it chilled! just hurts my teeth anyway so might as well put the whole case beside my desk.
but if you really want an affordable solution w/out all that portal research and development crap... just buy a mini-bar cooler with an absorber, its extremely quiet, small, you can rest your feet on it, + it cools your beer just like a normal one does but without the noise of a condenser-type one.
I mean, it's all windy stairs. I'm not being funny.
