proof : Image

(what is happening here is that i just connected to a wifi point, the first page you go to anywhere
even in thunderbird etc redirects you to a page where you have to agree to the wifi providers TOS
for this particular wifi point and then you can use internet normally)
You dont see that dialog box in firefox opera netscape or chrome eigh... =P
No wonder Steam crashes so much!

Most games apps which use an embedded browser tend to be IE.

It's because IE is built into Windows, so if you're writing a Windows app you can be sure people will have it. For my sins I've done it myself, mostly because its easier to use an existing technology (which will do things like show pictures and animations etc) than write one from scratch.

At least IE isn't the Sony browser. Now there's a shite browser altogether.

Opera FTW though, great browser.

I was at an Opera presentation the other day at university, where some opera guys came and talked about the future of the web, opera, and all things related. Pretty interesting stuff :)
And free opera umbrella!
