hopefully Jumpgate Evolution will fill the gap that Wing Commander left in my heart!

And I believe they have space station battles, where a squad of fighters have to take down a massive Deathstar like contraption!

Personally, I'll buy it just for that!

speaking of MMO-somethingorothers, anyone still play MUDS? used to be into ArcticMud back in the day, it was based on the Dragonlance Universe.

Had a brief fling w/ a CircleMUD about 15 years ago, running on a vax, if that means anything to anyone. Wasnt too enamoured. My d&d geek buddies loved it tho. I can't remember what kind of world it was, or even what character I was. Obv. didnt make too memorable an impression on me.

you know thats part of the reason AoC failed, at the beginning the Archers kept camping respawn areas pissing everyone off. Was on a free mmorpg once too, forgot what it was called, and every 5 minutes some wanker ran through the newbie leveling grounds killing everyone in sight, and kept killing them until they finally gave up and didnt come back
