Rocket Jump Script
Re: Rocket Jump Script
i'm with the majority here i think. In competitive play i wouldn't like it to be used but when playing on a public server like this (esp. This one!) i'm usually too pissed to notice if someone was perfectly rocket jumping or not!

Re: Rocket Jump Script
I asked Jased a while ago and scripts are ok. Whether I hit or miss on a rocket jump just adds to the randomness of gameplay. Mind you I dont have a script but I have a nice mouse that allows for a rather rapid 180 degree turn at the press of a button... although I've never used it in combat but heyho... time will tell!!

Re: Rocket Jump Script
now if Id have a 180° turn script I'd always be hitting the button by accident and swearing all the time, nothing like a button that, if accidentally hit, makes you give the enemy a nice crit in the back.
I mean, it's all windy stairs. I'm not being funny.

Re: Rocket Jump Script
I won't need scripts as I'm having three additional sets of hands being surgically attached at the weekend.

Yeah I'm the same, but I use my other side mouse button to call medic. The wheel disable thingy del posted works a treat. I always use 1,2,3 to change weapons, so having the wheel as a button only works out great for me.
As for the rj script, I FUCKING LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Rocket Jump Script
No harm at all in using a RJ script. I did for a bit and it helps with getting used to air control and after a bit pull the script out and ya be rocket jumping like a god

Re: Rocket Jump Script
180 turns ? rj scripts ?
Theoretically , scripts are allowed.
But rocketjumping is an art I would say.
Some of us might remember the american on Bbal2 rocketjumping to the fence and directly to the basket ?
Not one time , but several times.
Really amazing to spectate that guy.
I still like to do it manually (seen the bungles lol), as not every situation requires high rocketjumps. Sometimes the low rj does fine.
