I've mentioned this map before "cp_castle4" on the server and re-visited this week on a server I used to play on. Don't know how it would play on a 32 slot server, but it was always a reasonably received map, if fairly average yet different.
Also I noted that it doesn't go mad on the eye candy such as heavy use on HDR so the FPS rate stays good and reasonably constant (compared to some) throughout.

Some of the authors other maps are already on the server (although I'm Not a big fan of them :( )

This used be on the srver back inthe day I think. Great map, if its the one I'm thinking about

i think it is on the server.. not 100%... but if its Vile made we prob have it :p

The map was pretty interesting. Big enough to accommodate the 32 player spammage without giving snipers free reign. Didn't get to stage 3 though.

It's fun but all the walls look the same, it's easy to get disorientated and confused by the layout.

That is true at first and it was a shame we didn't get to stage 3 but I guess some are still mastering being an engi with the update, so unfortunately we didn't have an established forward base near to the first cap (stage 2) which would have helped you to get your bearings.

The reason i suggested the map is that it is different and whilst being a bit bland it's fairly neutral, ie Not a "marmite" map, so at least people will play it. Also there are only 2 caps per stage, that are held once taken. There are alternative routes to the cap/s but nothing is obscure so after just a few games you'll know exactly where you are.

*Another but more interesting/colourful map I used to play (3 stages) was cp_corporation_b3

Hhmm corporation was on the server at some point. It wasn't too bad if I remember correctly although I think some of the points turn into a spamfest.

I think Corporation was one of those maps that you could never win if you were on a particular side!
