For the holidays? You sound like a scrooge. ='(
I remember a few years ago, the BBC went through a phase of showing completely un-Christmasssy films on BBC2 on Christmas night.

One year they even showed the Peter Jackson classic "Braindead" or as its known in the U.S. "Dead Alive".

Absolutely brilliant cheapo comedy gorefest from the genius who brought us The Lord of the Rings, and one I would thoroughly recommend, and sure while you're at it, youshould also check out his first movie "Bad Taste"

I think RTE are showing Jaws this year though, and sure there's never a bad time to watch Jaws!
Have you seen Black Sheep? It's very Peter Jacksonesque. same sense of humour

Did you even read the first post in this topic??!

Now these can fall into 2 categories, A) films set in and around Christmas, and B) films which you have a particular memory of being shown at Christmas.

Die Hard? an xmas flick?

After reading up on V-Ice's movie exploits, I poked about the i-mockery site a bit more

You know, I completely forgot that Die Hard was set at xmas time. It's totally an xmas movie

I hate the Ewoks too, I prefer Admiral Ackbar's line "It's a TRAP!"
Speaking of Christmas movies, I like "A Christmas Story" and the 24 hour showings of it on TBS on Christmas eve :D

Not really Corea, you see over this side of the ocean, growing up, there just weren't that many tv channels.
Every year, the few stations tried their best to outdo the others by showing the best films.
It soon became apparent that people wanted to see the same films every year, and henceforth, these became Christmas films.

The best example are the Star Wars films, when in the time before most people had VHS players, Christmas was the only time you'd see these films, and as a kid, you would be very much looking forward to them.
