Are you still looking at a PS3? On my surfing travels I came across this little media box circa £80 (external hdd not included - can run USB flashdrive sticks too)

Ay I had considered it, but no blu-ray player, no tv tuner (so can't record telly) and to be honest the PS3 does prety much everything else that it can (plays movies via USB, downloadable content, web browser etc etc etc). Plus the PS3 has wipeout. And Tekken. And Gran Tourismo. Ahh screw it I'm not going to lie - I want a console as well you see, so the PS3 ticks all the relevant boxes.

Do it man, they're cheaper than ever these days.

Ay the one I was looking at was with 2 games and a HDMI cable fo £310. I'm going to spend £400 in all with the playtv and a bigger hard drive.

Additionally I have a couple of mates with them, so I'm looking forward to getting them online and introducing them to some of you lovely people!
