Ultima Online is the only best realy true mmo"rpg" and this is, for sure. Not the topic right now I´ll test WAR and hope (after the damn nubish PvP in WoW and missed PvP in AoC) that WAR will still my hunger in MASSPvP.

Strictly speaking WOW is a clone of the Warhammer tabletop game (well sort of).

only if you reeaaaallly stretch it and ignore the fact that Warhammer is a huge pack of stolen material patched together, I mean they stole ideas from everything, not just fantasy and science fiction novels, even historical things (ex. the Space Marines shield is an Iron Cross, or the whole inquisition thing.. don't try telling me they came up with that one on their own)

Now the whole thing about it being a WoW clone is you have to realize WoW is nothing but a dumbed-down version of previous MMORPGs like Everquest, Meridien 59, DaoC etc.. So if Warhammer is going to be like WoW only better with more features(siege mode) and a decent story(not just something slapped together back in WC3 to prepare for WoW), then so what, isn't that a good reason to get it? Course I'm still peeved at the fact that they also went with comic-graphics, not as bad as WoW but still crap.

While I agree that Warhammer is just a bunch of other stuff jammed together, isn't it true(as in documented fact) that Blizzard originally wanted to make a Warhammer game, but in the end, couldn't get the licence, and so changed the name of their original game to Warcraft? If the game is similar to WoW, as in its an MMO which plays like all other MMOs, then I really don't think you could accuse Games Workshop of copying WoW!

I sincerely doubt I'll bother playing anyway. The only MMOs I'm interested in have twitch based and not turn based combat.
Top of my list is Jumpgate Evolution http://www.jumpgateevolution.com/ and please don't anyone compare this to EVE without first reading that you're supposed to fly your ship with a joystick, making it a completely different game!
Other than that, my only hope is Huxley http://www.huxleygame.com/, although when either of these will be actually be released is anyone's guess.
