Wish i was good enough to be able to compete in something like that. I didn't really think TF2 was that popular in pro gaming.

Don't think it will go that far Fes, Pc Gamer have championed it from day 1 because they have great taste (uk pcgamer anyway).
CS still dominates the FPS world by far, i'd love to see that change. Given the fact that we're seeing sponsored teams and such on tv gaming championships these days a more obviously teambased game might be a good idea.
Fingers crossed.

that championship gaming bollox that was on sky (with the laughable 'coaches' behind the team, rofl)... well, that runs in teamusa too, which is where the rediculous presentation probably came from, ...although nothing wrong with the little hottie that starts the matches in her themed costumes...I digress
anyway, stateside, that has a pro-am league too, and the games in that are CS:S, TF2 and cs1.6...and from wot I can see, valve are not sponsors of that. Not quite WCG...so while it hasnt hit the big times yet, it's at least being picked up by some...Which Is Nice(tm)
but, then there are the retards that decided that WoW is a suitable game for tournament PvP
btw that pc gamer dealie is sponsored by valve, (you can play left4dead there) so you could pretty much expect valve games to feature
