He was most probably a scammer. Paypal scammers are very common on TF2.Fester wrote:i had a feela add me on Steam last week he offered 200€ for my flaming spartan.... i have no interest in turning pixels into cash (plus i just want to keep the hat, it was a gift) but gives some idea of the cost of some unusuals... and how bad some people are with wanting hats, tis madness!
Also the most expensive hat - Burning Team captain is $3,500. Check that out for pricey pixels.
