This officially sucks

It's 11.24pm and I'm stuck in belfast International because of some radar fuck up in London. My 10.20 flight (which I had already been waiting for since 4.30pm) has been delayed until 01.50am.

I've finished one book (God Emporer of Dune by Frank Herbert) and am halfway through my second (Smoke & Mirrors by Neil Gaiman).

I've wasted £50 in the bandidts through boredom. I can't have a beer with the very generous £3 voucher from BMI baby because I still have a 45mins drive home when I get back to Cardiff at about 02.40.

With a bit of luck I might be back home in bed at 03.30am, ready to get up for work at 07.00am.

But I'm still smiling - or is the inane grin the start of minor insanity???...

My flight home from Lanzarote was canceled so instead we were told we would be getting one the next morning. Again this was canceled so we then had to get one later that night.

Budget Travel was kind enough to put us in a 5* hotel for the night but It was in a shitty area and we had nothing to do except wait.

Flying really is a pain in the arse.
