FESTERS PLACE

Any one play this yet? I have it for the Wii and on the last battle now, after about 7h playing..

pros:
- Badass Sith for most of the game
- first mission you get to play the dark lord Vader himself
- lots of special effects
- throwing people around and swinging your lightsaber with the Wiimote is hella-cool
- beat the crap out of Vader, The Emperor, and many others
- customize your lightsaber and choose from a couple of different costumes
- great atmosphere, lots of characters from the movies (not like Shadow of the Empire, only thing good about that was the battle of Hoth)

cons:
- short
- hack'n'slay, every level is the same with different looks.. run around killing stuff, boss, run around killing stuff, boss etc.. always following the green dot on the radar
- the Bull Rancor battle (bout middle of the game) is longer, annoying, and harder than beating the Emperor or Vader (end bosses)

Annoying Fact:
Darth Vader gets the crap kicked out of him by Kenobi (Episode III) and Starkiller (The Force Unleashed) to the point where he is a wreck, lying there begging for mercy.. no wonder he's so pissed off and rude to his subjects in Episodes IV to VI: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=5blbv4WFriM

It's been confirmed for pc, I'll wait for that.

Yeah I think a really decent online Star Wars FPS with force powers would be cool.

thank god i have a copy of jedi accadmy on the pc, i can get my saber slashing goodness from that at least till i find a friend to steal the game and a 360 from for a few days

I've been hunting around for jedi academy on pc for a while, loved that game.

I played its predecessor, Jedi Knight 2. Was pretty much the first FPS I played (Baring playing on consoles round mates houses), and was pretty good, especially once you got into arena mode and got to customise your force abilities

Played this on the 360, well all I can say is WOW

I heard that the Wii version was going to be different (no duh), but how does it use the Wiinote differently other than someone would just use a regular controller other than the lightsaber thingy

the whole force thingy, for example to grad someone you press Z, but then to choke him you turn the Nunchuck upside down and raise it a bit...
- or the Force Push is lashing out with the Nunchuck
- jumping and then swinging the Mote downwards makes him do that falling saber attack
- Press a button and swing the Mote to throw your saber
- etc.
