I find I have a weird perversion of looking at friends updates even though most of them are bollox just in the off chance something has gone disastrously wrong so I can take part in their misery.
Now my real friends of which I would count on my hands, I wouldn't engage in this but to all of the others who incessantly post about how great their lives are, when that house of cards comes tumbling down, I have to admit taking a little pleasure in their pain for all of the pain they have given me in posting about the brilliance of shit I and everyone else doesn't want to hear about.
Of all of this, the worst ones are the ones that post shit like 'luv u more than the world' and other crap that nobody other than their partner wants to hear, tossers.
The only reason I have a facebook account is to snare women with really and in that sense, it has worked very well.
Social networking makes me want to stab myself in the face with a blunt, rusty spoon. I dislike it almost as much as blogging and you wouldn't want me to get started on that.

Hate it with a passion. Same with myspace.
The only thing close to social networking I do hit is Jango. It serves a far better purpose then making my eyes bleed with sites from hell and having to listen to some one else musical choice which is normally excessively loud and extremely irritating.
