I had an inv from cambo but when I got it he was alrdy offline, im thinking it started a lil early for most of us and cambo got frustrated and left, shame as I was looking forward to this

Sorry guys who missed me - we are on for 90 mins or so - just borrowing an empty server to get a few players together again.
I think around a dozen showed and it maybe was a bit early for some, but it was just to get an idea about the interest.
ironically some people who are always playing tf2 didn't join but I think its a case of "build it and they will come"
Tomorrow I will be looking into what it costs to run a server now to see if its viable, but I have little free time these days.
I suppose like most if we could regain some of the atmosphere from the past without any of the shit at the end then that would be great.
Going forward now I will start a fresh thread about this subject and get some feedback from everyone there.
In the meantime feel free to chip in.
And just to clarify Toco, sorry I missed you but no, I didn't get frustrated - it was good fun even if the map / mode wasn't ideal.
With the right maps / setup, we could be onto something as no other servers even compare to what we had.
And btw before anyone asks im not interested in the ownership / dictating of this or that if it happens - I will go with the majority when it comes to how everyone would like things, excepting that you cant please all the people all the time.

check with master of disaster cambo, he used to run a few servers, not sure if he is anymore or not, but at the very least he could point ya in the right direction
