Lovely music they got for this, do you know if this is a feature then fest, or what budget they were given from the film council?

Well the music was created by the guys daughter, would you believe?! Only 14 but works brilliant with the piece so well!

It is a feature or documentary on a particular area of Ireland, the people, the animals, the land. i think they were running of a €3k budget but the making of it has been going on for well over a year. it is going to be doing a "tour" of the area when its finished (been shown in local pubs and community centres) no money will be made from its just a film of passion :)

I assisted him in finding some of the locattions, the Deer, Night Sky location, Access to wind mills, few bits like that, also got him some footage from a para-motoring friend who flew over the mountain which i have yet to see the footage of, but anyway quaility stuff by them!!

Don’t know much about the workings of this feature/documentary making but credit to them there hard work has paid off!

Yeah it looks great! Do you know if they're planning on putting it into any festivals? I've not had much experience with festivals for feature-length films but I imagine they're less commonplace than the ones for short-films; either way though it looks ace and if they've put that much effort into it then whacking it into a few festivals sure wouldn't hurt.

Also only 14? Christ, she'll have a good future in front of her for sure.

Aye they are hitting some of the Irish festivals all right, and there will be a mailing list setup for copies of the DVD in time :)

she really has, fantastic piece of music and composing at such a young age
