There are tons of horrible videos and pictures of the massive flooding going on here. This one struck me because it is the Susquehanna. This is the longest river on the east coast-and it dumps into the Chesapeake bay. I am about 10 miles from the Conowingo dam, which also serves as a bridge over the Susquehanna. Tomorrow they will open 50 of the 53 flood gates. Pretty much everything east of me will be underwater. Much of the west of me is already underwater. This is the second highest crest for the river on record. This video is well north of me, in northern Pennsylvania.
I like how it took a house hitting the bridge to convince the guys that standing on a bridge over a greatly swollen river is a bad idea.

Dharma, are you actuallly at risk from this flooding where you are then.
You know you have a problem when your ping sounds like sonar.

My area is at risk, but not Bel Air itself. The towns east of me are underwater. The towns west of me were underwater from the rain. Bel Air should only get flash flooding, but with 50 gates open I'm sure my town will be cut off by the water. I'm on the third floor so I'm ok. Fester-you are my escape plan. Rob that bank and get me a chopper!

I hope you aren't in too much danger Dharma.. I think a boat would be better than a chopper.. I'll try and convince Abramovich to send his over for you..
I'm sure there'll be rooms spare for a few friends.
Keep your self safe and your feet dry.
