I remember this happening to my old comp, got a 30 sec freeze and when I recovered It looked like this

Not sure of the map but there is a benchmark prof that may help point the finger.. I think it's called OCCT. You can bench you house and see things go funny.

ive had that a few times aswell.. seems unlikely that it would be everyones graphics cards melting simultaneously..
