k well this is gonna sound just as sad as it is any way i put it so im just gonna say it, im walking into a blind date on friday (a friends gfs best friend) they refuse to tell me anything bout her other then the fact that she is older then me, this could mean 25 years or older, now its been over 5 years since ive talked to a women in real life in a social setting so my dating/flirting skills are a bit rusty when i dont have time behind a keyboard to think lol and for the past 5 years my life has been about injurys, sickness, video games and security, not the greatest icebreakers so halp me plz

I would approach it like this:
If she turns out to be someone you're really interrested in, then just be interrested in everything about her.

Ask her questions about her. Listen to her when she tells things, and ask followup questions if needed, as that shows her you are actually participating in the confersation, not just hearing her out and forgetting instantly what she said... And a very important one: look her in the eyes when you guys are talking.

Keep the cologne and smoking to a minimum, and dont start fierce debates...

And when talking about yourself, be truthfull, and don't excaturate. And don't bring victum stories. A positive vibe results in a positive evening.

i used that trick to figure out who my buddys gf was lol, now to get her friends name, good call terb
of course that requires her to become my friend so i can see her friend list beings she wont give me her friends name so she can continue to fuck with me

Well if you're going in expecting the worst might as well set up something that lets you get out of it like having a buddy call you about "something serious and urgent that came up and you need to deal with." If you wanna make it work just take part in any conversation that you can add something to. Also you never know, she might be a gamer herself (or something else in common) so make sure you ask her what she does in her spare time.
