You may remember a topic we had some time back where we were talking about the Turbo button. Well my tech friends it has returned it was as useful as and ash tray on a motor bike but what about now ??

"Includes MSI's own Turbo Drive Engine (TDE) Technology for overclocking the notebook, one click of the turbo button gives you 20% extra performance"

I think Sony have just brought out something similar for their Viao laptops in relation to the graphics card. But rather than 'turn it on' (easy now) you turn it off. When your just running windows then you switch the gpu off and it runs from onboard graphics, saving battery life and, of course, the environment. But when you need performance you turn it back on. The interesting thing about it is that you don't need to restart every time you do this - which is how previous similar systems used to work.
