So it looks awesome, but which game is it based off of? I'm pretty sure there is no RE afterlife? Did they not do RE5 because of the bs race issues?

Guess it just uses the RE universe rather than the actual games. I hope this is just an early trailer/draft, cuz the action scenes seem way too cliche IMO.

Expressionless hot girls in tight leather outfits, who don't sweat, traveling around beating up faceless drones in even more leather who couldnt hit a dart board if they threw a hedgehog at it, coming face to face with the bad guy who is ever so cool, exchanging quips without so much as a smirk, fighting mostly in slow motion to show of da awesome 3D, jumping out of tall buildings like its a regular occurrence before finally saving the day but in such a manner that would prompt a sequel.

How many times have we seen this movie?

u guys talk like u havent seen the first 3 movies, as for dharmas question the first 2 were losly based around the games the 3rd had nothing to do with em other then a few charector names, ive been looking forward to this one for a very long time, ever since seeing the 3rd really

It might have been the RE4 trailer? (I assume that was an RE4 trailer, but I hadn't seen it before) Dunno..

Repomen would probably not be such a colossal waste of your time. At least that has an awesome fight scene set to

I should really start listening to A Perfect Circle, been listening to tool allot over the last few months and lovin it.

As for the movie, to me its just another special effects, kickin ass, summer film. Im sure its very entertaining and all but i don't think there will be anything in it we haven't seen before. But, in fairness to it, it is hard to create a film like this that stands out from others in its genre.

Now, if you'll excuse me im off to go depress some poor orphans. Have a miserable summer.
