Just imagine if like someones pacemaker got a virus D:
Dr Mark Gasson from the University of Reading contaminated a computer chip which was then inserted into his hand.
The device, which enables him to pass through security doors and activate his mobile phone, is a sophisticated version of ID chips used to tag pets.
In trials, Dr Gasson showed that the chip was able to pass on the computer virus to external control systems.
If other implanted chips had then connected to the system they too would have been corrupted, he said.

When I heard the headline for this on a news round up I was intrigued.
When I found out he'd just thrown an RF card into his arm I called bullshit.
Not a human virus or human infecting a machine just a tosser who thought he'd make the news by cutting his arm open and sticking some plastic in. No difference between that or having it in your pocket imo. Another tech/science story the media just jumped on and misinformed about. Maybe the general public wouldn't be so confused/scared/pissed off by science if the media would report on shit properly.
It was a big let down. I wanted a brain to machine data link or at least something innovative or useful.

Cheers BBloke! You're the grease that oils the cogs of Festers!
Props to Cali for all his ETF2L organisation skills!!

Just like in Japan or whatever the name is.. some people does have Chips inside their hand as test. That is connected to a computer that show where they are (GPS) ... no privacy anymore
