Polycount pack contest

Got some ideas for the contest (don't take it too serious). Too bad I don't have the skill to work them out

- For the spy, a glove: if you hit someone with it, decloaked and face 2 face, he can only use melee and only kill the spy. The spy can only kill that person, melee only and can't do anything else (no zapping, no backstabbing). This lasts for 20 or 30 seconds. It's like challenge the other player for a duel

- For the pyro, an onion (or something similar to induce flatulence). Set someone on fire and when they run away, throw an onion at them (simulates the victim eating the onion). If they don't get healed within 3 seconds, the victim is gonna fart. By doing this, he will set his teammates on fire in a certain radius. If his health is too low, he will even die.

- Demoman: Shots of booze. Hit a person with enough booze (beer bottles for instance) and he will start to walk like he is drunk. Limited ammo and pyro is immune. (like 24 bottles, same amount of bottles in a crate), need 12 to get someone real wasted.

Mmm maybe I can try to model the beerbottlegun. Never done modelling before, know the basics of Blender but I like a challenge. And because it's a pack, I have to come up with other ideas.

Nice ideas, I was thinking about a few things too after reading Bucks thread.

After a long think I came up with one solid idea for the Demoman.
''Scottish Black Label''

What are the two defining character traits of the Demo? Chaos and hard liquor. Combine the two and you have a 'Molotov cocktail' type affair. It would replace the pipe-bomb launcher and share a 'one-use' mechanic similar to the heavies Sandvich once it's been thrown.
It would utilise the jarate' splash style mechanics only with one added extra, a lingering flame effect on whatever it hits. Missed your target? good. You now have a pool of flaming booze which would immediately ignite who ever dares cross it(lasts for say, 10-15 seconds), think of it as a deterrant/firey road block of pain.
The effect would obviously still be countered by health/air-blast(both reflected and extinguished)/jarate etc etc.

I'm hopeless with rendering images so I'll try describe what i have in my head as best I can; it's quite simple really.
Take the melee bottle, turn it black with a suitable label. Stuff a tartan rag in the end and hey-presto.

The black label could be a melee weapon replacement, would make it an interesting choice - area denial or a melee weapon.

I think that any weapon dealing fire damage should be Pyro only.
but thats not to say you cant have a bottle that can be lit by a freindly pyro

or just make a fire/petrol bomb for the pyro. works like the jarate [only get 1, reloads over time] but does fire damage over time. if you throw jarate on it/airblast/medic/dispenser/health it goes out like normal flames. stays alight on the ground for a while as well

would be good for groups of people. throw some jarate 1st, then a petrol bomb, mini crits up the ass!

spy in melee only would get raped by everything. normal/front spy stab is about the worst melee weapon in the game. tho if you could force someone into melee only and then decloak and get out of there, you could nullify some dangerous people. would be pointless against C&T demo's tho

12 is far too much, make it XXX hardcore boose. 1 shot drunk, 2 shots on the floor/falling over/cant walk straight, 3 shots throwing up everywhere [while on the floor]. and just mebbe this boose is so powerful their vomit is... flammable? ;)

maybe not relevant here but i want engie sentry grenades.. the engie has a grenade which works like a sticky, he throws it and it attaches to the surface it hits.. once attached the grenade unpacks itself and forms a mini sentry, stuck to the surface.. it would have to be weaker than a lvl 1 sentry but the positioning possibilities would make it a good surprise weapon. (and maybe he can have 2 at once, and possibly fired from a launcher like stickies?).. would be good for roaming / attacking engies..

... since when do engies roam or attack? Nasty surprise weapon yes, and if they're only broken by bullets (like stickies) then demos would be royally screwed.
