yep Votick networking, pc support and server.

my last site i just finished building and configuring a Windows Update server for the Local Lan
and also finished a project for ECDL - European Computer Driving Licence, locking down a windows xp build so that the students using the pc's could not reck them by disabling services and network cards.

MAD about pc's that's me......

Del,

the mosy anoying this is i just got a site updated to xp then the company i agency for moved me.
would not be so bad put the pc only have 128k in them and they want to run a full ms office DOH
most of my time is spent clearing crap of the hard disk's to try and make them run faster.

Old school? Open formats are definitely the way forward. Anybody here heard of a competition called PWN to OWN?

(ridiculous name)

If i had a file server it'd be running Fedora or Suse :P

I'm on a 4 year computer science degree at southampton uni so I don't have to work that much yet :P any jobs I get are on websites or fixing people's pc's when im home :)
Certainly no working at 7:45 am :P
