Well, in the last week, we have moved our email client from Outlook to Lotus Notes!
Now, I don't know if anyone has ever used this particular program, but it's utter shite!
Simple, one click actions in Outlook, are now multiple clicks, and force you to think about what you are doing.
In here we are referring to it as Stupid Lotus Notes, because that is exactly what it is!
Chin up Fester, only 2 days to Friday, and a Bank Holiday weekend!

Nice thread. Cos people love to listen to story lines that just went wrong
btw
Toshiba Satellite Pro 430CDS - it´s not much but says enuff I guess
Accordin to "2 more days": there´s a sayin over here (that usually only fits for bureaucrats anymore)
"Freitag ab eins (13:00) - macht jeder sein´s"
It means kind of "Friday past noon - just do what you do" in the sense of everybody may do his/her stuff past 1 pm. If u see it like that, Fester, Lazy´s totally right - me myself can already smell the aroma of fresh saturday mornin rolls roastin in the oven til 3 pm when I finally get up and start trainin for the evenin
And yes - people are shite. I´d prefer to live in a big city just surrounded by REAL animals
Tho it could become a bit furry when it gets to the point

²
With this in mind: prepare for friday night, dudes!
Edit:
The reason I actually decided on to post is a question. What is Bank Holidays? And why is it called that?!

As this is a public thread all I'm gonna say is work sucks! I feel for you all and have my own little Idaho which I've just stirred with the shit stick. I'm expecting my P45 sometime soon... ..hopefully!

I seem to be spending more time these days filling out spreadsheets documenting the work I have done than I actually doing work.
Just trust that I'm doing my job and let me get on with it ffs!

As most of us are probably aware its usually the module at the end of the keyboard thats faulty.
Having run computer software and hardware companies i can understand more than most the shit you get for not being as stupid as your customers.
Funny thing is i get wised up clients ringing me now 4 months after completing a flash site with ecommerce done in php with a multitude of scripts to make it all work and they tell me that their mate in the pub can now edit their site using a browser with a log in.
Although currently the numpty mentioned only works once a fortnight signing a form for the government so that he's free the rest of the time to advise people like me who spent years and tens of thousands of pounds without realising my client actually wanted a useless CMS.
Im off to calm down now in a quiet room.
