Tried that for the first time today, hella-fun, a lot better than American Football! specially cause of the whole pass-back rule, not so much showboating and more teamwork, doesn't work if everyone just runs on a pre-planned play route either, have to know where the entire team is all the time.. good stuff.

Rugby is a game for proper men who don't mind getting hurt and are comfortable with getting close to other blokes in scrummages (mainly because you get to punch the other team and squeeze their bollocks to make them angry when the referee isn't looking).

American football is for girly men with shaved chests who have to wear body armour because they aren't very tough and they don't want to get all hurty and have to tell their mummys that the nasty other men made them cry.

ah the age ol argument.. but in fairness they cant tackle head on in rugby.... i think if i see a 25 stone man running at me head on and he has a helmet on i fucking want 1 !!!!

They can indeed tackle head on, as long as the player has his feet on the ground you just run in and hit, while of course wrapping your arms around and not going for the neck.

aye which means its not head on its by the waste cant tackle above the waste.. you have to pull the guy down.. no such roll in American football.. get the fecker down anyway you want..

On the injury front Wayne Looney has still not recovered from the nasty gash sustained when an over-zealous Ecuadorian player came down far too hard with his squidger and his wink caught Wayne a nasty glancing blow on his left eye.

Now thats hardcore!

Some nasty rally crashes there.. I prefer the more sedate scientific crashes!!
