"Cheap" games require a flashing of the PSP firmware, etc.. as far as I know, I'd look for a decent modding website that tells you how to do it if I were you. (there is no one universal solution, has to do with your PSP version, firmware version, etc)

P.M. me with model and original firmware.
you can check your firmware by going to settings>system settings>system information.
All I can tell you righ now is:
that the later models (PSP-3000, the one with mic) are harder to modify, and when modified requires being always in standby mode (can never shutdown or modifications will go away.)
The last PSP-2000(slim & lite) models are the same as above
The first PSP-2000 (slim & lite) are easy to mod but require some tools.
The PSP-1000 (PSP fat) are the most easy ones to mod, requiring almost nothing.
I dont know if I can leave this here ... either way check these forums
http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/f133/th ... d-t227349/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.consolespot.net/forums/sony-psp-forums/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
if you dont want to register on both (because of links etc...) i dont mind giving you my accounts data
Cheers.
P.S.: This stuff can be use to try before by which is not legal... but can also be used with other purposes like playing backups of game you own, and using homebrew to do stuff that the psp cant do normally ( eg.: watch youtube,megaprawn, googlevideo etc....). Believe what you won´t but I use mine for the latter.

PSP-3000 can only be modified with a firmware (system version) of 5.03 or below.(same applies for last models of PSP-2000)
So keep your psp´s un-updatedand surely a solution will come by compatible with your actual firmware.
Sorry I can´t be of any more help.
Cheers.
P.S: Also sorry for my crummy english

Don't forget playing PSX games!
What I needed to hack my PSP-2000 was a pandora's battery and magic memory stick. The memory stick is pretty easy to make (there be guides on the interwebs), the pandora's battery on the other hand is a bit more difficult. Ya gotta either hardmod it yourself (there be guides on the interwebs for this too) or buy one online. If you hardmod the battery yourself you wont be able to use it as a normal one again (as in it wont work).

Too far you say? Didn't know you couldn't Pandora it after a certain Firmware. Or you got the 3000 model?

Here's some pretty in depth instructions for your PSP.
Hold in your right hand.
Stand approx 15 ft away from a wall
Throw as hard as you can
