There seem to be 4 stages to the WoW disease. First is the amused entertainment provided by the game. Then comes fanatical devotion and unwillingness to do anything else. After about 2-3 months the fanatical devotion becomes more of a conenctrated effort - quieter and more time consuming. In a few years eventually boredom sets in - THAT's your best bet to set yourself/your friends free. Looks like this guy got denied at stage 2, hence the disturbing freakout.

It was really funny at first then it just got weird. To me it seems fake only cos I cant imagine any kid ever reacting like that. It looked like he was being possessed by evil spirits or something.

This HAS to be fake, I played WoW for one year, and just when it became bored, I just stopped playing it like every other game. I don't know why they always pick WoW out, because every game can be addictive. Not only WoW, and like I said, I played WoW and had really NO problems with it, just deleted it from my pc and never wanted to play it again :p
