Well said Lazy, well said.
Well I figure I'd make a teenager's thread, where I can bitch about my classes.
First up, Healthful Living (Gym, if you must). I don't have much to bitch about this class. First of all, I have an awesome teacher. He used to attend the Citadel (very prestigious (American) football school), playing the NFL and NFL-Europe, and he lets us chew gum in class! Lastly, the information is easy to process (I can recall the 5 health-related components like that!).

Second, World History. Another class I can't bitch about. My teacher, she's funny, and that by itself is enough. Not to mention, I really like learning about the Ancient Greeks and the like.

Third, Concert Band. As I've said before in this post, my teacher is AWESOME. The only real down side of band is that we have 3rd lunch, which means I have to wait a little for nutrition. But that is acceptable for playing music ( More of this ===> :Trompette: Less of this ===> :violin: ) :D

Now here is the one class I can kinda bitch about, English I (Dun, dun, Duuuuuuuuun). Now don't get me wrong, my teacher is excellent. She can do no wrong. It's just that the other people in my class are BONEHEADS. They constantly complain about not getting simple grammar, elementary punchtuation, and anything about the mythology of the Greeks.

Ah Heavy, seriously, you're not alone in your thinking that most of your English class are idiots!

Hell, when I was in school, my entire year was full of fucking MORONS!!!!

I don't know what it was about my particular year, but damn, it was a right collection of mouthbreeders!

I wonder what Bosco is like as a teacher on a Monday morning after one of his marathon sessions of Buckfast and TF2???

Very entertaining, would be my guess!

well time for toco to be a bad influence again and say school is useless, at least here in canada, u dont need a diploma as u can get into any collage just by writing an entry exam which is well lets face it the only school u need past like grade 6, all of jr high or middle school whichever u prefer and highschool are all useless filler mixed with shit anyone with common sence alrdy knew. in the end all u need is ur basics from elementry school and career training, not 12-18 years of school

I'm liking what I hear! (or read...)

School was rubbish really, several subjects I didn't really wanna do, but once I got to college it was awesome, only 15 hours a week on subjects I wanted to do, and yes

The drinking always ends on the saturday though. Trying to teach hungover is an impossibility. So on the couple of occasions it has happened to me I always use the surprise test technique. Give 'em the first half of the class to revise, then make up a test on the spot!!

I used teach in Kerry and the view out of my class room window was beautiful. One day I had told my third years I was giving them a test and then completely forgot about it. When I walked into the class I saw them all furiously revising and realised what I had forgotten. So, I told them all to turn their chairs around and look out the window and played them this:

While their backs were turned I quickly wrote out a quick test. Saved by the Debussy
