Apart from we finished off with badlands, 2 all playing one last round, goes both ways, each team gets to within one point of winning, till finally our team caps the 4th point, ubers at the 5th, starts to cap, when the round time ran out! 1 second from winning the map and the game, d'oh!

when you get 20-32 people in form and 'on it' the game runs smoothly... had a cracking match of avanti a few weeks ago it was awesome.

that says a lot too tho selby...avanti is on a cpl of times a day, every day...if you only get one good game every couple of weeks then something is wrong somewhere

You only tend to get a good game on avanti as red team

Unless there's somebody smart on blue who demojumps right up to the second point fast to cap it, then you might have enough time to push back

For blu it has to be ubered demo after ubered demo!

I was saying that i like games when the majority of the team work together instead of freestyle. Avanti was an example... that particular game stood out compared to the norm, like a few on warpath and bigger maps.


smaller maps like mach4 or turbine, you generally dont get a cracking game or one you leave the server thinking 'cool' etc... if you know what i mean

sorry but bollox nova,ive had some great games as a blue and its slightly more rewarding when you storm the church

I like being blue on avanti, if you can break through the meat grinder of the third point you really feel like you accomplished something.

I still have a screenshot somewhere of a game me, Jase and Mug played the other day. Everyone on the red team went Engineer and set up sentry's in the church as a fruitless last stand. We got wiped out, but it was great fun.
