Just now on Chaos, I break through to Blu's defence, steal there intel then go through the back up to the top floor. I was being pursued by someone so I was running backwards whilst shooting at them. I suddenly thought, "Hang on, the hole's behind me, I should change direction so I don't fall down". But instead of changing direction towards the hole, I steer myself directly into the centre of the hole, land, die and the intel's back where it started! Doh

That easily outshames my ability to infiltrate my own base thru the sewers in 2fort, or my unsuccessful attempts to capture our own cp2 in warpath after traipsing back thru the level to get there, wondering why it is so quiet, while the rest of the team is fighting it out at the correct, enemy cp2

both of which are not isolated incidents!

I agree, I have also been found running in completely the opposite direction :-/

I can't think of a specific one but my constant desire to run toward the enemy unflinchingly, regardless of what class I'm playing, has caused me to do some incredibly stoopid things. Uber heavy??? Run at him with a bottle. That's bosco's way

Don't be too hard on yourself Bosco, offering glowing strangers a swig of your bottle is just being sociable

I have it all the time that when teams get switched or whatever in the late hours on a thirsty night I sometimes relentlessly pursue a teammate trying to burn them or walk past 3 enemies thinking "hey guys", until someone usually crit-rockets me or packs out the old stiletto. Oh right, and all the times when I get blocked in a cramped tunnel by either a Teammate or thin air instead of burning them right-away I just keep on trying to get past.. thats usually very unhealthy and leaves horrible scars

I also forget what color I am supposed to try to kill... (esp after autoswitch)
and sometimes try to enter the enemy's respawn for health... =(

Infiltrating your own base is always good....security checks and all!

Being a spy brings my dumbest moments. I'm thinking, excellent, a sentry to sap. So I stand next to
a nearby dispencer waiting for my moment to uncloak. Then that moment comes and I'd forgot to
pick a disguise again after stabbing someone and the sentry shoots me right away.

Could be worse though, I'm sure I've seen spies on my team try to sneak up and sap my sentry before.

Aye, the number of times I've relentlessly pursued a teammate, firing rocket after rocket at them, wondering why A) They're not dead and B) Not returning fire, before I look at their colour, and the colour of my HUD and realise. Repeat 3 times for a bad night

I have to say being Jase's medic ranks up there with "stupid" for sure!!
