I guess most of you just hate Dj Tiesto. Well, I don't like many of his songs either, some are really annoying, but there are a few noteworthy exceptions which are so good that I often can't stop listening, namely:
Just Be

Sweet Misery

I used to be into trance. Heck, I still know the entire discography of DJ Tiesto, Armin van Buren, Paul van Dyk, & company.
But it's over-emotional, upbeat, music. It's kind of beautiful, but I find a much more elegant sound in Goa. I also now listen to the neutral IDM/drum n bass.
Life isn't happy. Life is short, full of suffering, and ends in death. But the world is constant, unchanging, unmoving, subject to its storms as well as clear skies. I like music that reflects that.
</end of philosophic rant>

I approve of the bitter, jaded tone of your post.
I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

Rain down on me and beautyful things didnt sound so bad, but for real, the first song just be, my ears startet to bleed.
I wonder why the USA uses Waterbording to torture there people, they could just play this song or one of its kind....

I always wondered how Tiesto could produce such rubbish... live he don't play any of his own tacks and plays a good set

Llama@bad, if I'd been able to, I would have linked the album version of Just Be, because the video clip was made for the so-called Antillas Radio Edit, which isn't the same as Tiesto's real style. Too bad YouTube doesn't seem to have it.
Spooky, Vernon's Wonderland and Alienated are not bad, although the melody gets boring easily to me. Sorry, different taste.
Speaking of classic tunes, lemme show you one that I like, from 1994 I guess:
Enigma - Age of Loneliness (Enigmatic Club Mix)

Oh dear...
Just be...kidding ?
500 songs a week like this are produced (unfortunately), with the help of Casio and some female voice being electronised...
If you have no inspiration, thats what you get as result.
For once snipers allowed , no class limit, to put Tiësto out of his misery.
Sorry to mess up your hero Angry

Thanks
